Andie Ingram Eccles, Director of International Programs, PDSO
Andie joined LCC in 2024 as the Director of International Programs, bringing passion for and experience in international education. Growing up in a home that welcomed international students, Andie saw the joy of global exchange from a young age. She studied abroad twice during her undergraduate studies and volunteered as a translator for international organizations, which affirmed her interest in working in international education. Andie has worked for state and research universities in the Pacific Northwest and the Midwest, supporting international and domestic students in graduate, short-term, and continuing education programs. Andie has limited proficiency in Chinese-Mandarin, French, and American Sign language. When not thinking of cross-cultural exchange, you can find Andie reading books, watching soccer, or attempting vegan cooking.
Andie serves as Lower Columbia College’s Principal Designated School Official (PDSO), and the Coordinator for the Washington State Community College Consortium for Study Abroad (WCCCSA).

Keiko Pedersen, Program Specialist, DSO
Keiko was born and raised in Japan and moved to the United States in 2008. She joined LCC's International Programs as a program coordinator in 2017. Before becoming an official staff member at LCC, she worked in the healthcare field in both Japan and the U.S. Keiko also assisted the short-term Atomi University program as an interpreter at LCC each February before officially joining LCC. Now, she serves as a student support specialist, assisting not only short-term program students but all international students on a daily basis. Keiko attended LCC as a student herself and believes that her experience as a student from a different culture and background is highly beneficial in supporting international students. She loves interacting with students and has a natural inclination to help others. She has also been involved in the Longview, WA - Wako, Japan sister city relationship and various educational and cultural events promoting Japan-USA understanding. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, gardening, and reading books. Keiko is bilingual in Japanese and English.
