What is the Smarter Balanced assessment?

Smarter Balanced is an 11th grade career and college readiness assessment. Some students are given the assessment in 10th grade. Course eligibility is the same regardless of the grade in which the assessment was taken.

What courses am I eligible for?

How do I submit my Smarter Balanced scores for placement at LCC?

Please bring your Smarter Balanced score report along with picture ID to the Testing Center in Main. Call (360) 442-2360 for assistance.
