You can be on the path to making a difference in your community by earning a Bachelor
of Applied Science degree in Teacher Education (BAS-TE). LCC's program will help you
gain knowledge and skills to effectively work with students and collaborate with professionals
throughout the field. This program is tailored for working adults with options for
residency teacher certification or a focus in early care and education. LCC offers
endorsements in elementary education and early childhood education.

Apply to the program through the BAS-TE webpage, complete Basic Skills Assessment (WEST B, SAT or ACT), and attend Mandatory Program Orientation.
Get background check through the Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction
(OSPI) and Pre-residency Clearance.
Attempt at NES (either elementary education tests 102 & 103 or early childhood education
