This certificate prepares graduates for entry-level employment with school districts.
Graduates acquire skills needed to become an important member of the instructional
team, learning instructional strategies, behavior management, human development and
interpersonal skills in the context of a diverse society. The program includes hands-on
experiences in schools. This program will help open doors to a rewarding career as
a paraeducator.
