Higher education is considered an essential service under Governor Inslee's 'Stay at Home' order. Limited instructional activity in lab settings is permitted under the order, as long as safety protocols are followed. Protocols must include: hygiene; social distancing; and cleaning and sanitization.
In order to allow students to enter for limited lab activities, we have to unlock some of our buildings.
Furniture has been removed from many areas of campus to promote social distancing.
Signage is prominently displayed to promote awareness and understanding of safety protocols.
