Commencement FAQs:
Commencement will be held on Thursday, June 18, 2026 at 6:30pm.
Additional details about the 2026 commencement ceremony will be posted to this page soon.
The ceremony will include opening remarks from the College President, a student speaker, student acknowledgments, presentation of the Scholastic Achievement Award winners, and conferral of diplomas and certificates.
Graduates must complete the RSVP to reserve their spot and reserve their cap and gown.
The 2026 RSVP form will be posted to this page by the start of spring quarter.
By completing the RSVP form, graduates can reserve their cap and gown.
Caps and gowns are paid for through student fees collected by ASLCC. There is no charge when you pick up your cap and gown. If you are eligible for honors cords, you will receive them at the same time when you pick up your regalia.

Graduates who have earned an associate degree with a GPA of 3.5 or above will receive an honor cord.

There is no guest limit, bring as many guests as you would like! Gates open for seating
at 5:00 pm. All guests should arrive prior to 6:00 pm. The event will also be live-streamed!

Check in begins at 5:00pm: Graduates must arrive no later than 5:30pm.
Check in at Kelso High School at the south gym (closest to the stadium): signs and
volunteers will be on hand to help.
Yes, LCC will host two rehearsals: Graduates only need to attend one rehearsal.
Attend a required commencement rehearsal (virtual or in-person) on at LCC in the Rose Center for the Arts Wollenberg Auditorium.

Yes, there will be photography there capturing moments from your special day!
Graduates can purchase photos after the event.
Graduates should arrive wearing their cap and gown. Do not bring large bags or purses.
Graduates should consider leaving personal belongings with their guest(s).

Diplomas will be mailed by our diploma vendor, Parchment, to the mailing address you have listed in ctcLink by July 20, 2026. You’ll get an email from Parchment after your degree is awarded with details on how to confirm or update your mailing address and access your digital diploma.
Certificates of Proficiency (COP) will be mailed by LCC to your ctcLink mailing address by July 20, 2026.
Certificates of Completion (COC) and Certificates of Specialization (COS) will be sent via email by July 20, 2026.
Log into ctcLink before your degree is awarded to confirm your mailing address is up to date.

Local buses are operated by RiverCities Transit, although most routes stop running by around 7:00 pm. That means that you can catch a bus from LCC to get to the ceremony, but you will need to make other arrangements to get home. See "Trip Planner" at RiverCities Transit for details. For those interested in rideshares, currently Lyft picks up in Longview (but not Kelso), and Uber picks up in Kelso (but not Longview).
