LCC Campus Housing Department organizes many events for residents to make connections and provide them with opportunities to have wonderful experiences in the U.S. In this blog, I will introduce some of the events and field trips that LCC Campus Housing has organized.

Events at Our Housing

We had a variety of events every two weeks last academic year at our apartment. We had Nintendo Switch Game Night, misanga making, sweets party, Super Bowl night, Halloween party, Thanksgiving dinner,  BBQ, and more! We casually gather at the apartment and chat, play some games, and have fun. My favorite event at the apartment is Halloween. We wear costumes, take some pictures, and eat a lot of candy.

Field Trips

Every quarter, the Housing Department also organizes field trips. One of the best things about field trips is that you don't need a car. They provide transportation, and sometimes even lunch! For example, we went to the beaches located in the Pacific Northwest, went ice skating, visited the zoo, and went hiking. It is a great opportunity to explore the PNW.

Join Housing Events!

LCC Campus Housing Events allow students to meet other international students, experience American culture and holidays, and try new activities. For me, housing events have helped me get to know new international students, learn about their cultures related to the event, and even eat together, which makes me feel like the apartment is my second home. So, I encourage you to join housing events to make new connections!

LCC Campus Housing events help students meet other international students, experience American culture, and participate in new activities. You can enjoy the events casually and make new friends! I hope this blog helps you learn more about LCC Campus Housing! Thank you for reading to the end.
