Vaccination against COVID-19 is required of all students admitted to any healthcare program at LCC. No currently available accommodations will allow for clinical placement of unvaccinated students, thus unvaccinated students will not be able to enroll in healthcare program cohort courses (those courses taken once admitted to a healthcare program).
The Lower Columbia College Nursing Program offers an 8-credit Nursing Assistant Certificate of Completion.
This certificate provides the content and experiences for students to achieve mastery of the state-defined competencies required to assist in giving basic nursing care to residents/clients under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
