Topics include: the nursing process, concepts of health and wellness, oxygenation, fluid and electrolyte balance, elimination, the integumentary system, comfort measures, and palliative care.

Topics include nursing management of patients with disorders of the respiratory, cardiovascular, vascular/lymphatic, neurological, urinary/renal, hepatobiliary/pancreatic, and gastrointestinal systems, as well as acid-base/fluid-electrolyte balance.
