- Assists staff with program development in all component areas by relating parents’ concerns about their children and explaining particular community needs, customs, values and expectations.
- Works closely with classroom teachers/EHS staff to carry out the daily activities program.
- Assists in recruiting and scheduling volunteers for center activities.
- Plans, conducts, and participates in informal and formal activities for all parents using needs assessment.
- Assists in staff recruitment. Member may elect to join the Interview Committee to assist in screening applicants.
- Elects representatives to the Policy Council group; sends directions, questions, requests for activity funds to the Policy Council group via representatives.
