A few facts about the program:
- The RN to BSN program is a post-licensure pathway designed for students who have obtained a Washington RN license by the time classes start in September.
- The RN to BSN program is a selective admission program. Selective admission criteria are used when there are more applicants to the program than seats available.
- Graduates of LCC’s associate degree nursing program (AN-DTA/MRP) may be able to complete the RN to BSN program in as little as one year (3 quarters) of full-time enrollment (15 credits per quarter, 45 credits total).
- This will be a hybrid program, with classes meeting in-person one evening a week.
- Both full- and part-time pathways will be available.
- We are pursuing national accreditation as soon as possible for the RN to BSN program through the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).

Lower Columbia College (LCC) cannot currently enroll international students in the Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) program, because the BSN is not yet certified for the Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP). We are pursuing certification with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to issue and maintain the Form I-20 for this program. We encourage you, prospective international student, to stay in touch and revisit this webpage in early 2025 for an update.
