Applicants must have completed one of the following eligible Perry Tech programs:
- Electrical Technology
- Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Technology
- Instrumentation, Automation & Robotics Technology
- Information Technology & Communication Systems
- Business Technology & Accounting
Applicants must complete the following LCC course prerequisites and graduation requirements:
- ENGL& 101 with a C or higher (5 credits)
- MATH & 107 or higher excluding MATH& 131 with a C or higher (5 credits)
- A Natural Science with a Lab (5 credits)
CLEP testing and equivalencies
College Algebra meets the requirements for Math 141
College Composition meets the requirements for English 101

- Please submit an OFFICIAL transcript to Lower Columbia College and complete the Transcript Evaluation Request Form
- A cumulative GPA of 2.5 or greater is required for admission
The part-time program begins summer term in July. Part-time students take 2 classes
per term (10 credits) over 9 quarters for a total of 90 credits.
Full-time program begins fall term in mid-September. Full-time students take 3 classes
per term (15 credits) over 6 quarters (omitting summers) for a total of 90 credits
Apply by November 15!
We strongly encourage prospective students to apply early. By applying early, you can ensure ample time to address any prerequisite courses that may be needed to meet program requirements.
Applications may be accepted based on available space in the program and the applicant’s eligibility. However, we cannot guarantee that late applications will be considered, so it’s best to apply as soon as possible to maximize your opportunities.
