Microsoft is changing their free version of Office 365. Students will no longer be able to download the Office apps, but will still have access online.
Microsoft Online Office 365 is available to currently enrolled LCC students and employees at no charge.
This version of office is fully online with no downloaded apps. Click on the Get Office365 to create your Microsoft account. Remember to use your current LCC email address!
If you've already set up your Office account with your LCC email address, go to Office.com to log in!

No. Since you get Office 365 as a free student resource, there is no compensation for previous purchases.
Sometimes, if you have the most up-to-date version of Office, you can simply log in to your student Office account without installing Office again. However, to prevent issues, we generally recommend uninstalling your current version of Office first.

Yes, Office supports having both a personal and school account. Your personal account will be associated with a different email address than your school account. However, keep in mind that you cannot log in to both simultaneously.
