Our mission is to reduce hunger within our campus community and reduce the effects of food insecurity on student success. The food pantry works to support Lower Columbia College's commitment to equity and inclusion by providing access to immediate and long-term resources for those who experience food insecurity.

Making a Financial Contribution
Financial donations are accepted through the Lower Columbia College Foundation. On the online giving form, under the “(Optional) Use this donation for” dropdown, please select "Other" and add a note on the second screen indicating Food Pantry. Food for Thought provides students, as well as faculty and staff, with non-perishable food, daily grab-and-go snacks, and personal care supplies.

Making a Donation
Donations are appreciated! Drop your donation off at Food for Thought during open hours. Alternatively, call (360) 442-2352 to arrange a pick up. Donations bins are also located in the following locations on campus:

- 40 hot meals prepared by Salvation Army (usually pasta, mixed vegetables and sliced fruit)

Thanksgiving meal including a frozen turkey and sides

Diapers and pull-ups (all sizes available from newborn to size 7) while supplies last.
Make and appointment in person or call . Detergent is available for use at the laundry facilities.
