Regional and National Peer Comparisons

Following changes to the Northwest Commission and Colleges and Universities (NWCCU) accreditation standards, regional and national peer comparisons are now required (in addition to the robust state comparisons that LCC uses in its extensive institutional effectiveness monitoring framework).

The following information was extracted from College Navigator, a public facing query tool to the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS). IPEDS is a standardized reporting system used by colleges and universities in all 50 states.

Graduation, Transfer-out and Combined Rates of Full-Time, First-Time Degree/Certificate-Seeking Students

Based on IPEDS cohorts completing within 150% of normal time. Colleges in the comparison cohort provided by IPEDS via the IPEDS Feedback Report. Data points come from College Navigator (National Center for Education Statistics)

All colleges in the comparison cohort are public, 4-year but primarily associate degree granting institutions with open admissions policies.
