Serving our Community
The Foundation's mission is to provide financial support where public funds are not sufficient, and to gather support for the enhancement of educational opportunities at Lower Columbia College.
The Foundation works to advance the mission of providing financial assistance to students, encouraging public support for the college, and strengthening the teaching, learning and cultural environment of the college and our community.

History
The Lower Columbia College Foundation was formed in 1976 with the help of Phillip and Jeanne Wertheimer. The mission as a college foundation remains the same today as it did 40 years ago by providing Avenues for Excellence in Education.
The LCC Foundation is committed to providing ways for community members and businesses to show their support for students and the College. This strong relationship is what makes LCC truly our community college.
