College Success Fund

Providing support across campus for innovative programs.

Through gifts to College Success, the Foundation is able to provide funds to faculty, staff, and areas of greatest need. These dollars help programs and areas on campus that will impact the college in the most meaningful way to support students.

Fund Options ~ Gifts of a Defined Purpose

Student Success Fund

Helping students experiencing financial risk.

The Foundation provides $50,000 annually to assist students who are most at risk for abandoning their education due to financial hardship. Student Success funds not only help students in need with emergency funding, but also help the college maintain quality instruction because the funds stay on campus. The average student award is less than $500.

Student Scholarship Fund

Helping students pay for college.

Scholarships are a meaningful way to support student success, while paying tribute to special people in our lives. Scholarships may be named in honor or memory of an individual or family member. Scholarships may also be established in the name of a business or organization to foster a spirit of corporate citizenship and community support.

Athletic Excellence Fund

Protecting the future of athletic programs

The LCC Foundation is focused on student success and completion. We know that athletics keeps our students in the game, and we have a strong commitment to protecting the future of athletics and ensuring its legacy continues in the future.

Health & Science Programs Fund

Support for equipment and programs in STEM fields.

LCC's new Health & Science building was built to prepare students for jobs in the science, technology, engineering and math fields (STEM), as well as in-demand healthcare fields. The building houses all LCC healthcare and science programs under a single roof, for the first time in the college's 80 year history.

Becoming a member of the Wertheimer Society through estate gifts.

Through a planned gift to the Lower Columbia College Foundation, you can impact the lives of students achieving their dreams. By naming the LCC Foundation in your estate plans, you become a member of the Wertheimer Society. You will be honored and recognized for the legacy you leave to Lower Columbia College.
