Julie Curley

Program Specialist

B.S.; Engineering; Miami University, Oxford, OH

Julie has worked for LCC since 2015 and joined LCC's International Programs in 2017. She is originally from Cincinnati, OH, but has called Longview home since 1992. In 2011, Julie's husband was offered the extraordinary opportunity to live and work in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, China for 3 years. So, Julie took on the challenge of moving her 3 children, husband, and cat abroad. This experience has created a true appreciation of different cultures and a deep understanding of culture shock and adjustment. In 2017, Julie and her family had an amazing time hosting a student from Japan and they hope to have the privilege of hosting again. Julie enjoys the rewards and challenges of working with international students.
