International Programs

Welcome to Lower Columbia College International Programs!
What is it about a little community college in Longview that could attract a student from one of the largest, most historic, most culturally diverse cities in the world?

"Lower Columbia College’s small campus, friendly people and the opportunity to invest in his future," said freshman business major Berkan Basmergen, a native of Istanbul, Turkey. > Read more.

We are happy that you are interested in our college!

City of LongviewLower Columbia College offers a small-town, friendly and safe environment that encourages students to further their intellectual, social and personal development.

We are a two-year, public college located in Longview, Washington, and ideally situated between Seattle and Portland, Oregon. Recreational opportunities abound, including the scenic Columbia River and Mount St. Helens.

Our campus includes classroom and lab complexes, a library, student center, fine and performing arts center, baseball stadium, and a gym and fitness center. A new Health & Science Building is under construction, and the gym and fitness center is being remodeled.

About 7,000 students attend each quarter. Classes are small, allowing for personal student attention.

Two-year transfer degrees and one or two-year certificates are available. Advising assistance is available for transfer to four-year universities and colleges.

Learn more about us and see our International Brochure. For more information, please contact us.

Sebastiaan Nooij, The Netherlands"I found out about LCC when Coach Kelly Smith was coaching baseball in The Netherlands. I would recommend LCC to a friend. I had a great time here, good and nice teachers and there is always a way to get help. I am going to Hawaii Pacific University next fall, where I intend to play baseball again."
