Lower Columbia College does not designate a single valedictorian. Instead, we recognize
students with the highest grade point averages and most rigorous coursework in three
categories: baccalaureate, academic transfer, and professional/technical.
Scholastic Achievement Awards are LCC’s highest academic honors.
Awards are presented each year at the annual Commencement ceremony. These are the only awards presented during Commencement.
